Posted by Ben Smith on Saturday, December 27th, 2008

Welcome to the SOH Radio network, My name is Ben Smith and in this program we will be covering a recent performance by the Divine Performing Arts on the 23rd of December at the Cincinnati music Hall, in Cincinnati USA.

Dance Teacher Mr Irwin and his partner Alisa who works in Arts administration and dance were very impressed with the performance by the Divine Performing Arts company and their costumes.

Divine Performing Arts website says regarding the costumes “Apparel has been a defining part of the Chinese cultural experience for centuries, at once an interface between body and world, an expression of inner character, an insignia of one’s place in society, and even a mirror of nature.”

Mr Irwin commented on the costumes

“Listen to Mp3 for interview”

Being a Dance Teacher mr Irwin appreciated the work that goes into such a high quality performance

The Divine Performing Arts performed one show only in Cincinnati before continuing the world tour with performances following in Jacksonville and San Diego.
