Welcome to the Sound Of Hope Radio network, my name is Daniel Teng and in this program we will be covering the Divine Performing Arts performing in San Diego’s San Diego Civic Theatre on Saturday the 27th of December.

The three companies of the Divine Performing Arts have, as of the 3rd of January, completed tours in Detroit and are still touring Los Angeles and Brooklyn, New York. Attending the San Diego evening performance was Ivan Dolgonos and his friend Carla Damy. Ivan is a bank manager with Wells Fargo bank, while Carla is a student.

Ivan says the Chinese dances presented were colourful and interesting. Chinese dance incorporates a wide variety of cultures, leaving it with a very impressive repertoire and unmatched variety. Further, the dances offer a window into traditional Chinese culture.

The singers performing with the Divine Performing Arts are dynamic and very accomplished. Carla Damy had a quick word about this.

The Divine Performing Arts troupe is scheduled to tour in Los Angeles’ Pasadena Civic Auditorium from the 30th – 4th January; Ottawa, Canada’s National Arts Centre from the 2nd – 4th; and Brooklyn, New York in the Howard Gilman Opera House from the 3rd – 4th January.

Tickets can be purchased from www.ticketmaster.com and for more information please visit www.divineperformingarts.com
