Welcome to the SOH Network. My name is Raoul McAlister and in this program we will be hearing from Dennis Pfeffer, a manager in a shipping company, who saw the Divine Performing Arts show in Montreal, Canada on January 17

Mr Pfeffer came to the show without any preconceived ideas.

When asked, Mr Pfeffer was most surprised by the different types of dance styles in the various regions of China.

Dance is a major component of the Divine Performing Arts shows, and Mr Pfeffer thought that this medium is one of the best ways to learn about other cultures.

There were two standout parts to the show for this audience member

The interplay between male and female, strong and subtle, are constant themes in the traditional arts of China. Judging by Mr Pfeffer’s comments, this interplay was clearly evident and striking for him.

After the Montreal shows, the Divine Performing Arts move to Seattle and then Portland.
