Fund for Arts Vice President Barbara Smith and her husband Lacey attend Shen Yun Performing Arts final performance at Louisville's Marat Theater, Kentucky.

Hello and welcome to today’s Shen Yun Performing Arts update. My name is Craig Richter and I will be bring you an interview from the one and only Shen Yun performance in Louisville, Kentucky.

Today Shen Yun performed at the Centre for Performing Arts Whitney Hall; and as always our SOH reporter was standing by to capture the audience responses.

Our reporter in Kentucky spoke with Executive Vice President of Fund for the Arts, Barbara Smith. But before we hand over to Barbara let me first tell you a little about Fund for the Arts.

It’s mission is to increase revenues for the arts and to enable their community to become the pre-eminent regional arts centre in the United States. And to maximise the impact of the arts on overall economic development, education of their children and the enjoyment of living in their community.

Let me also say, The Fund for the Arts is the oldest united arts fund in the country and has raised over $157 million dollars since its establishment in1949. Wow, that sounds like a very creative way to better your community  OK, lets go to Louisville Kentucky and Barbara Smith.  [audio]

I never get tired of hearing these interviews. I think it’s because they are so genuine. I would like to take this opportunity to say SOH is a proud sponsor of the Shen Yun Performing Arts.

Shen Yun will be next appearing at the Murat Theatre, Indianapolis from March the 9th to the 10th 2010.

Until next time, it’s goodbye.
