Introducing the all new 2012 Shen Yun world tour
Welcome to the SOH Network’s Shen Yun Review where we bring you audience comments from recent Shen Yun performances around the world, I’m Trevor Piper.
Since its inception more than five years ago, Shen Yun Performing Arts has done more to promote traditional Chinese culture than any other performance company in the world. weeks review comes from the United States, the Jones Hall in Houston, Texas to be exact.
Since the opening of Jones Hall in 1966, millions of arts patrons have enjoyed countless stage and musical performances at the venue. Today, Jones Hall is home to Houston Symphony and the Society for the Performing Arts. Vibrant red velvet seating and golden teak walls enhance the Jones Hall’s ambiance, while the hall’s impressive lobby provides a unique and memorable setting for many types of functions. And the recent Shen Yun performance is no exception.
Retired University Administrator Dorothy Caran thought Shen Yun was magnificent (audio). Physician Marcos Calderon congratulated Shen Yun for being so beautiful and so well done (audio).
Next we hear from dance choreographer Elizabeth Demonico and Joseph Demonico, an actor and drama instructor. Both admired Shen Yun on a professional level, Elizabeth expressed her admiration for the perfect choreography and said they were blown away by the dancers’ acrobatic movements (audio). Joseph commented on the dancers grace and precision and also admired the way the performance was staged (audio).
And finally this week we have government project manager Anne Ryder who said she would be back next time and bringing more people with her (audio).
The SOH Network is a proud supporter of Shen Yun Performing Arts. For more information about the all new 2012 world tour please visit www.shenyunperformingarts.org.
