Welcome to the Shen Yun Review brought to you by the SOH Network. I’m Grace Mann. Today I’m bringing you audience comments from recent Shen Yun performances around the world, as well as letting you know about upcoming dates.

In case you hadn’t heard, Shen Yun performs story-based dances including stories of bravery and courage in modern-day China; and in which people of faith are ultimately rewarded for their conviction. But what do global audiences think about Shen Yun? Let’s take a listen to audience members tell the delight and wonder of their Shen Yun experiences.

Firstly we visit the Citi Performing Arts Center, Wang Theatre, Boston, Massachusetts where, Loretta Sanford environmental safety consultant and owner of 7 Generations Inc., shares her heart-felt feelings after seeing Shen Yun for the first time (audio).

Next we visit Fort Lauderdale, Florida where we hear from Victor Mendelson and his teenage daughter Nicole. They attended one of the Shen Yun Performing Arts New York Company’s three-show run at the Broward Center. Mr Mendelson wanted his daughter to learn about Chinese culture. By all accounts, they were both thrilled by the display of China’s 5,000-year-old traditional culture (audio).

Staying at the Broward Center for Performing Arts we now hear from South African attorney and company director Dr Carnie Matisonn (audio).

As with other audience members, our interviewees were deeply inspired by the rich spirit of ancient culture brought forth in the Shen Yun performances they’d attended. Shen Yun Performing Arts brings to life classical Chinese dance and music in a gloriously colourful and exhilarating show.

Upcoming Shen Yun performances will be in Philadelphia, PA, 22nd to 23rd Feb and Memphis, TN on the 26th Feb. Frankfurt, Germany will host Shen Yun shows on 26th to 27th Feb with Little Rock, Arkansas welcoming Shen Yun on 28th Feb. Sydney, Australia concludes its epic two-and-a-half week Shen Yun season with two performance on 23rd Feb, before travelling onto Australia’s Victorian capital Melbourne.

SOH Network is a proud sponsor of Shen Yun Performing Arts. For all information and ticket enquires please visit www.shenyunperformingarts.org.

Hello listeners, welcome to our latest Shen Yun Performing Arts update. This update is for the 18th of April 2010 and comes to you from The Buell Theater in Denver, Colorado.

Denver is on the High plains of the South Platte River Valley; just east of the Rocky Mountains. It has been nicknamed the “Mile-High City” because its elevation is exactly one mile above sea level.

The Denver Performing Arts Complex is the home of The Buell Theater along with nine other performance spaces making it the second largest performing arts centre in the world.

Shen Yun Performing Arts is one of the best performing arts companies in the world and deserves nothing less than the very best venues the world has to offer.

Let’s go to Denver, Colorado to hear Meredith and Henry Lerman’s praise of Shen Yun. [audio]

Wow, what an amazing experience they must have had to be provoked into such generous praise. One thing I noticed about the Lerman’s interview was how sincere and incredibly clear of mind they were.

Shen Yun has been amazing audiences all around the world, so you don’t miss out on your chance to see Shen Yun . Please visit www.shenyunperformingarts.com and book your tickets now.

Shen Yun will be next performing in Brno, Czech Republic from the 19th April – 21st April, Omaha, Nebraska USA on the 20th April and Yunlin County, Taiwan from the 21st April – 23rd of April 2010. Please book your tickets.

Hello again my name is Craig Richter, welcome to the Shen Yun Performing Arts update for the 11th of April 2010. Today’s update comes from the Civic Opera House Chicago, Illinois where Shen Yun once again gave a genuine and true representation of Chinese culture through dance, costume and music.

One thing we keep hearing about Shen Yun is the stories it tells on stage about a China all but forgotten, when virtue and goodness prevailed and magic was everywhere.

So it’s not only entertaining, it’s also educating the audience about a culture that’s thousands of years old.

Let’s go now and hear Pedra Meyer’s experience of Shen Yun. [audio]

Shen Yun is truly an experience not to be missed.

For for all of your ticket and performance information visit: www.shenyunperformingarts.com - that’s S H E N Y U N Performing Arts.com.

The next show is in Minneapolis on the 14th of April 2010.

It is our great pleasure here at SOH to be sponsors of the Shen Yun Performing Arts 2010 world tour.

That brings this update to an end. I hope to be with you again soon, until then this has been Craig Richter for the SOH Radio Network.

Hello and welcome to our latest Shen Yun Performing Arts update. This update is for the 18th of March 2010 from Peery’s Egyptian Theatre, Ogden, Utah and is the final performance in Ogden.

Ogden was first established in 1846 by a trapper named Miles Goodyear and has had a strong historical link to the railways.

As always, SOH had a reporter at the performance ready to capture those first hand experiences of our theatre goers. Today those happened to be Bridgit and Ryan Pack. Bridgit is an associate Director of sales at the Marriott Hotel, right next door to the Theatre and Ryan works as a warehouse manager for a construction company.

Lets now cross over to Peery’s Egyptian Theatre and Bridgit Pack. [audio]

So if it’s colour or costume, skill, beauty or strength you look for in the performing arts, look no further than Shen Yun. The next place to look for Shen Yun Performing Arts is Taipei, Taiwan from the 19th to the 25th of March or Portland Oregon from the 20th to the 21st of March 2010.

Remember, for all ticket prices and performance dates visit www.shenyunperformingarts.com, that’s S H E N Y U N Performing Arts.com

It is now my great privilege to say SOH is a proud sponsor of Shen Yun Performing Arts, and we will continually do our best to keep you updated with Shen Yun performances from around the world.

Ok it’s now time to say good bye, until next time, this has been Craig Richter for the SOH Radio Network.
